"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" says godbye to Carrie Fisher and pays tribute to her



At the premiere of The movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi, it was a special night, The presence of Carrie Fisher's was very much felt. From her daughter Billie Lourd, who appears in the movie with her late mother...
....to writer and director Rian Johnson dedicating the special night to Fisher before the film start, it was a vey emotional moment. 

Johnson told the crowd. "I want to dedicate this special night to Carrie, I know she’s up there right now flipping me the bird, saying to me, ‘Dammit, Rian, how dare you bring the mood down and make this night a solemn tribute?’ So let’s all have a blast together, for Carrie."


The Star Wars franchise has paid tribute to the actor's memory, Since Fisher's death in 2016 at age 60. Also The Last Jedi, the final Star Wars film Fisher appeared in before her death, honors her in a huge way.



After the film ends and the credits roll, the screen reportedly reads: "In loving memory of our princess, Carrie Fisher."
